O I L S E A L S
The oil seal is not a machine or an engine element, but an additional piece which function consists in protecting the machine components.
The oil seal mission is: * To avoid the penetration of damaging particles into the machine (water, dust,...) * To retain the lubrication (grease, oil, water,...) * To avoid the mixing of two fluids of two different compartments. * To block the outlet of gas and working liquids. |

NBR OIL SEAL: It is the most usual one because of its elastic coupling which lets less narrow tolerances and more space of expansion. They do not produce oxide and the metalic casing is protected against oxidation.
DOUBLE OIL SEALS: They are for a more secure tightness. Used for the fluids separation. There is grease between both "lips" because the lack of lubrication produces heating.
It is very extense the range of oil seals that ALMAPROIN can supply in every material (nitrile, silicone, viton, etc...). From 5 to 500 mm. of diameter and the working temperature is:
NITRILE from -30 to 120 ºC
SILICONE from -50 to 180 ºC
VITON from -30 to 230 ºC
